We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client’s property business, in Kilmarnock. This will be a part-time position and may be structured as two full days a week or five half days a week, depending on the successful candidate's availability / preference (20 hours per week). The role will primarily be based in Kilmarnock, with occasional work in Irvine. Reporting to the director, the successful Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company, managing invoices, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role will also require assisting with general office administration tasks. To be considered, applicants must have previous experience as a Bookkeeper and be able to demonstrate the following experience Strong understanding of business accounts and the monthly/annual accounts cycle Solid knowledge of SAGE software Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite Ability to work methodically and stay organised under pressure Keen attention to detail The ideal candidate will be a driver with their own vehicle, as there may be occasional work in Irvine.
