The role of Business Development Manager will be multi-faceted. The right candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable improvements, processes, efficiencies, and in turn profit across our business. The Business Development Manager will also work closely with the company directors to deliver new business opportunities, build relationships with new customers, and drive overall growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for developing business and improving performance to manage a portfolio of suppliers and customers from a wide range of sectors, as well as developing and improving internal operations. We are looking for someone who has the drive and ambition to make a difference to the business by delivering against targets. People and the customer will be at the heart of everything you do.
About you

6. You will possess a full UK driving license and be able to travel and spend occasional nights away from home.
What will you be doing
1. Developing new business opportunities as identified through the strategic business plan.
2. Managing existing client base to maximize turnover, profit, and growth.
3. Building relationships with new clients, as well as stakeholders within the business.
4. Buying materials from a wide range of suppliers in line with specified cost quality and delivery parameters, utilizing your experience in negotiation and procurement methods.
5. Developing internal processes and strategies to achieve business savings and maximize efficiencies.
6. Develop and manage training, development, and appraisal plans for the team, including succession plans.
7. Work with company directors to develop a multi-media marketing plan.

Carl started out in 2002 as a sole trader and set up Carl Noble Electrical Limited in July 2003. Since then the company has steadily grown to where it is today. This growth has been achieved by providing quality works whilst maintaining value for money for its customers both large and small.
We now run a fleet of 12 vans and have a team comprising of 8 Electricians and 5 apprentices. Each electrician has his preferred line of work enabling us to cover all aspects of electrical works. Most of our electricians that work for us served their apprenticeship with us and they are now passing on their knowledge to the younger workforce ensuring we have continuity in quality.
