About the job Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working exclusively with our Talent Partner, GeoPura, in their search for an Operations Manager. As an Operations Manager you’ll deliver zero-emissions power by overseeing HPU installations to major customers. You’ll work to tight deadlines to deliver customer power on (and off dates) on high profile deployments, whist overseeing a deployment through its lifetime onsite. Responsibilities Manage allocated HPU deployments and ensure pre-agreed customer power on dates/times are met through the management of deployment tasks such as customer-facing meetings, booking cranage & transport, requesting labour resources and hydrogen deliveries Ensure outstanding customer service is delivered throughout a deployment’s lifetime Complete schedules and resource plans to ensure deployments stay on track, hold various internal and external stakeholders accountable to deliver as agreed Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, which will include an electrical design team, service facility, labour schedulers, hydrogen delivery planners and onsite teams to name a few Ability to be extremely flexible & dynamic to meet changing customer requirements Ensure our companies’ Health & Safety policies are upheld Ensure equipment is accounted for both onsite and offsite post deployment Attend customer meetings & site visits Ability to maintain and update deployment documentation Desirable Experience Demonstrable experience working in an operations planning/management role Proven experience delivering temporary/permanent installations in relevant sectors such as temporary power, electrical, battery, solar, hydrogen, UPS installations Very strong technical background in the field of engineering (electrical) Experience working on major events and meeting critical deadlines Can demonstrate attention to detail regarding work quality Self-motivated and can manage priorities and workload to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances Experience working in the hydrogen industry Knowledge of the temporary power industry University Degree in relevant subject or a technical qualification You must hold a valid, full UK driving licence What you will get A competitive salary with annual Bonus Scheme Up to 8% matched pension contribution 25 days holiday Bank Holidays (holiday entitlement also raises 1 day per year of service, capped at 30 days) Enhanced sick pay/family leave pay A career within a rapidly growing company Private healthcare and dental cover Death in Service Benefit at 4x base salary Employee Assistance Programme and Mental Health Advantage Exposure to exciting projects within film, TV and other sectors working to decarbonise their operations
