The Project Support Manager role will assist the Head of Data Transformation and Delivery, Group Data Technology and their team of project/programme managers in the delivery of support objectives including Financial reporting, Project Reporting, Human Resources, Vendor Management, and Communications.
In this role you will:
1. Manage recruitment demand for the global PM team, lead the recruitment activity and ensure that roles are filled according to the location strategy and budget availability.
2. Engage with vendors with regard to managing the statements of work (SoW) to ensure these are concluded correctly and within the agreed budgets.
3. Support Business Management teams on facilitating organisation management.
4. Prepare project and portfolio reports, Management Information reports and status reports where required.
5. Develop and drive ways to effectively engage key stakeholders through multiple channels and approaches. Ensure all financial data is captured, documented and maintained in corporate tools. Analyse this information to provide insight and look for areas where improvements to processes can be made.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in dealing with global teams spread across multiple locations.
2. Proactive problem solving and support skills whilst maintaining a strong customer focus as well as commitment to delivering high quality work in a high pressure environment with tight deadlines.
3. Ability to break down complex problems, articulate the problem statement in an easy to digest manner to all levels of the organisation and ideally propose a potential solution.
4. Good understanding of Clarity or similar Project Management tools and other Technology and Financial Management Information Systems.
5. Ability to prioritise and manage stakeholders accordingly in a rapidly changing environment.
This role is based in Sheffield.
