We are currently recruiting for a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join our Sign and Print Design team on a fixed term contract basis (until August 2025).
As we celebrate this momentous anniversary year, now more than ever, it’s an exciting time to join the Harrods Team. Whether you’re a recent school, college or university leaver, or you’re looking to restart your career in an exciting new field, at Harrods we firmly believe in offering exciting career opportunities.
About the Role:
Our Sign Studio Graphic Designers are responsible for helping to develop new creative design concepts for internal promotion communications, point of sale/signage, visual merchandising sites, and customer relationship management/navigation. Our Graphic Designers also assist as needed across ticketing and vinyl graphic production and installation, ensuring all final output reflects the core brand values of both Harrods' visual and creative strategies.
Alongside all members of the Sign and Print Design Studio, our Graphic Designers are responsible for complete individual project development from concept, through design, to creating media/print-ready artwork. Throughout, our Graphic Designers consider aesthetics, functionality, and any other requirements to make the designs unique whilst still integrated within the Harrods core brand values.
About You:
You will be a creative individual with a proven career within a Graphic Design capacity, comfortable with developing creative concepts and designs through to launching projects across the business. Ideally, this would have been either in a design agency or an in-house/retail studio environment.
You'll also have:
Technical proficiency across all facets of Adobe Creative Suite (additional understanding of HTML and Dreamweaver, and illustration skills are advantageous but not essential).
Excellent layout skills, great typography and retouching knowledge, and a strong eye for detail.
Fantastic interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
The initiative to gather information and data through research if needed.
About Us:
Our 175th anniversary will see the Knightsbridge store become a stage for our legacy of firsts, our house of world-leading brands and our reputation for exceptional. We want you to come and be a part of all this - and help us deliver exceptional service that represents our authority as a long-standing icon, industry-leader and innovator. Inspired by our past, celebrating our present and focusing on our future, you’ll be joining a team with the belief that anything is possible. What makes you different makes us exceptional.
Our Promise to You:
Help us make the impossible possible for our customers and we’ll do something remarkable for you. As well as offering a friendly environment to inspire your best work, we provide abundant opportunities and support to build an exceptional career across the varied specialisms of our business.
In return, you’ll receive an excellent benefits package, including a company pension, flexible working, 25 days’ holiday, and your birthday off, up to 33% in-store discount (including across our food hall and restaurants) and a season ticket loan.
