The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a vital role in both the expansion of the company and oversight of daily operations. Overseeing a growing portfolio of commercial and R&D projects, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the marine industry and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
* Oversee all operational departments and functions to include: Engineering, Project Management, QHSE, Facilities, Asset Management, Production and People.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are met.
* Analyse financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other leadership team members [CEO, CCO, CFO, CSO], to develop and implement business strategies.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners, and the board of directors.
* Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Experience:
* Proven track record in a senior operational leadership role within the energy sector, preferably in offshore, subsea engineering or related fields.
* Experience in scaling operations within a private equity-backed or high growth environment.
* Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading cross functional teams.
Technical Expertise:
* Strong understanding of subsea foundation technologies and offshore construction methodologies. (Desirable)
* Familiarity with technology implementation and development processes.
* Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines pertinent to offshore operations.
