About the Department:
Our HR team is at the heart of creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring Arden University is a great place to work. We provide operational HR support and strategic guidance across the organisation, partnering with leaders to deliver in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, and wellbeing. From managing day-to-day HR processes to delivering key projects, we support our colleagues at every stage of their journey, while driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement and achieve Arden’s mission of being an employer of choice.
About the Opportunity:
In this role, you will support the People Business Partners by:
1. Managing a range of employee relations cases efficiently and effectively, including absence, grievance, disciplinary, and performance matters.
2. Delivering training, coaching, and upskilling managers in best people practices, ensuring alignment with Arden University’s values.
3. Contributing to various HR advisory and project initiatives that support Arden University’s strategic goal of becoming an employer of choice, such as wellbeing, employee engagement, and policy development.
You will need to be based in Coventry Head Office one day a week.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced HR professional with:
1. Hands-on experience working in an HR environment, including managing casework and ensuring compliance with policy and best practice.
2. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively influence and engage with a range of stakeholders.
3. A proven ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships at all levels.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information and use it to inform decision-making.
5. A proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic organisation.
