Job Description
As a web content strategist, you will help the web strategy, web delivery, WEM, SEO, campaign, PMM, optimisation and XD teams deliver UX content for web, campaign and SEO pages so they can convert NCAs and maintain in-life customers on sage.com. Every day you will provide content requested by the digital squad for different touchpoints, analyse performance, carry out benchmarks, and provide recommendations aligned with business priorities.
You will recommend and deliver content design, information architecture, content structure and copy for commercial pages on Sage.com including product pages, SEO pages, and pages for integrated campaigns. You will need to have strong stakeholder and project management experience and a clear understanding of UX, SEO and accessibility best practices. You should also have strong analytical skills, experience working with performance management dashboards, and experience in writing and optimising content for e-commerce.
Your first 30 days?
You will attend squad meetings, get to know our teams and attend onboarding meetings. You will learn about the products you will be focused on. You will learn how to use our dashboards and will take on ongoing tasks with your manager. You will learn about our 2-week sprint process and how to use Workfront and will deliver copy for tests, updates, promotions etc.

The role offers the opportunity to work on tests for optimisation and to work with a range of teams, including web experience managers, XD, PMMs, and optimisation squads. Each team member is trusted to manage their tasks and workload, so it is ideal for someone who likes to work with minimal handholding. There is a lot of collaboration across teams, so there is always support and someone to answer questions.
This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Newcastle, Manchester, Winnersh or London.

Summary of your day to day?
You will be working in a complex matrix environment with various internal customers. You will coordinate and prioritize content requests in collaboration with product marketing, branding, experience design, and web content management teams to ensure seamless delivery. A critical part of your role involves ensuring Sage.com web pages align with style, tone of voice, content, and SEO guidelines, making recommendations for improvements where needed. You will also craft engaging UX copy for web pages and integrated campaigns while delivering all necessary content assets on time to support the experience design process, working closely with all relevant stakeholders.
