Job Purpose
We are looking for a qualified tax professional to work within an established in-house tax team. Reporting to the Tax Manager, in this role you will support the corporate compliance and reporting for the group as well as a variety of ad-hoc advisory projects.
There will also be a requirement to support the business in employment tax matters – experience in this area is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. You will have the opportunity to utilise your current skill set and pick up new knowledge. This role would suit those who have already worked in-house or those in practice looking to make their first move into industry and has great opportunities for future development.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of corporate tax reporting and compliance computations
* Preparation of group external reporting, company business plans and regulatory plans and accounts
* Assist Tax Manager / Head of Tax and legal team on a wide variety of transactions
* Tax modelling and forecasting tax payable and profits / losses as required
* Contribute and assist with systems implementation and integration of new technology solutions and processes
* To provide ad hoc advice to the business, as required
* To support the business on employment tax technical matters
* Support on tax risk and governance matters as required including SAO
