Then please get in touch! Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join our client in the surrounding area.
You will be working for a renowned manufacturer of heavy engineering products who supply to a worldwide market. This role will be managing an area in the UK and you will be carrying out a sales role approaching their key clients and developing the market base.
Responsibilities
1. Win profitable orders for the company, with a focus on growing our market share with industrial service contractors and engineering businesses in the petrochemical/refining, nuclear, construction, civil automotive and developing energy transition market sectors.
2. Manage a large existing customer base, ensuring new product offerings are shared and maintain regular customer contact to maximize potential sales opportunities.
3. Conduct research into new customer prospects, make contact and introduce our product range to maximize the sales potential of our industrial products.
4. Organize and conduct trials and demonstrations of the product range (full training will be provided).
5. Assist our internal sales department in preparing sales quotations and equipment costings for enquiries received, when requested.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in heavy engineering is essential.
2. Pumping experience or similar is essential.
3. Technical engineering knowledge is essential.
4. Must be happy traveling to customer sites across the UK.
