This is a full-time vacancy and will involve you in providing a range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers. We have a company van and fuel card for the successful candidate. We are looking for an experienced Reactive Drainage Engineer who has the capability to support the less experienced Engineers as well as carry out the day to day duties within the role itself. What does it entail? Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards Carrying out surveys Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four– variable according to business needs What experience do we look for? High pressure water jetting experience Surveying experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial drainage Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude Want to be part of a growing and progressive business Be willing to work some unsociable hours Full UK driving licence HPWJ and confined spaces tickets Must live in the Devon area What will you receive?
