What will you be doing?
Main responsibilities of the role include:
16. Estimating repairs required together with the time to be allowed, materials and parts required for repairs and explain work required, to customers and to insurance and other assessors in an efficient, pleasant, courteous and professional manner.
17. Making efficient use of all modern estimating methods and work in line with approved times set by Thatcham and/or other authorised repair times.
18. Assisting in the correct evaluation and justification of bodywork warranty claims and providing comprehensive explanations thereof.
19. Ensuring jobs are fairly and correctly allocated to Panel Beaters, Painters and other staff.
20. Providing an excellent customer experience through an outstanding level of finish and repair quality.
Who are we looking for?
Successful candidates will have:
21. Minimum 12 months experience in an accident repair setting
22. A methodical approach to their workload and good time management skills
23. Great attention to detail
24. Good interpersonal skills
25. A positive can-do attitude
26. Team player mentality
27. A willingness to learn and develop
28. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
29. A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
An ATA/Level 3 Repair setting qualification and experience using Audatex would be
an advantage for this role.
Working hours Monday - Thursday 08.30am - 17.30pm - overtime available
