Site Quality Specialist
Fixed Term Contract – 18 months
As site QEHS Specialist at our Stourton Dairy in Leeds, you will work in collaboration with the wider site teams to execute operational plans associated with functional and commercial success. You will ensure that standards and legislation are adhered to, whilst meeting customer needs and keeping quality, efficiency and best practice at the heart of what you do each day.

What will the role involve?
* You will lead and develop the Site internal audit programme and carry out internal audits, while also supporting the QEHS Manager during External audits and Customer Visits.
* You will develop and manage the site Quality Management System ensuring relevant certifiable standards/policies, customer demands, legislation and local standards are up to date and compliant to requirements.
* You will contribute with specialist knowledge about products and/or processes in designated area of expertise.
* You will participate in quality related projects and share specialist knowledge to deliver continuous improvement with respect to designated area of responsibility, applying a LEAN approach to everything you do.
* You will act as service provider or internal consultant by collecting and communicating relevant technical and quality information to help problem solving and development in the business.
Who are you?
* An experienced auditor, having previously audited against BRC and/or retailer standards.
* Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
* A technical background, with HACCP Training Level 3 as a minimum.
* A structured approach to optimisation and problem solving.
* A clear sense of commerciality, recognising the role that our customers and consumers play, and the impact that the local technical function has on those relationships.
