About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in Sutton. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for young people aged 10 to 18, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
* Leading shifts and supervising residential care workers.
* Acting as a key worker for one young person, supporting their personal development, well-being, and independence.
* Creating a nurturing and structured environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional growth.
* Encouraging young people to develop life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and self-care.
* Accompanying young people on recreational activities and promoting their interests and achievements.
* Ensuring the healthcare needs of young people are met, including making medical appointments and supporting their emotional well-being.
* Managing risk assessments, behaviour support plans, and safeguarding concerns.
* Keeping accurate records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
* Working collaboratively with other professionals, families, and carers to provide the best outcomes for young people.
