Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
The Role
We are currently assisting a school in the Bradford area in their search to appoint a suitably qualified Teacher of Geography. You will be required to teach Geography to KS3 and KS4 and the position is long-term, full-time, starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. You will need to be prepared to plan and mark as you will be teaching KS4 students in preparation for their GCSE Exams.
Requirements
To be considered for the Teacher of Geography position, you will:
Have experience teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 level
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary teachers
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
