We would like to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with Keystage 2, providing learning support to a child with additional needs. This post is for two days per week (Days to be confirmed), from 8.45am to 3:45pm, including lunchtime supervision and a 30 minute lunch break. The post is for 39 weeks per year, which includes staff training days.
The current pay range is from £12.85 to £13.26 per hour, depending on experience [Grade C]. This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2025, when staffing needs for the following year will be reviewed.
Applicants should have experience of working with children and have an understanding of how they would adapt the curriculum and motivate a child with additional needs to enable them to succeed in school. Training will be given to the successful candidate to develop the skills needed further to undertake this role.
