Facilities Manager
Alpine Formula 1 Team have an exciting opportunity to join our critical Facilities Team as a Facilities Manager.
The Role:
This is an important role, leading the facilities team and supporting the Head of Facilities to deliver a first class service to the team.
Key accountabilities for this role are:
1. Team Management
o Daily management of, planning and scheduling for the team
o Deputise for the Head of Facilities as required
o Set objectives and ensure team performance and delivery
2. Soft Services & External Contract Management
o Manage the Cleaning contract ensuring delivery of agreed standards
o Manage the Catering contract including approval of all services provided outside of the core contract (special events and requests)
o Manage the waste management contract, ensuring delivery in line with contractual requirements including provision of onsite resources and labour
o Undertake appropriate audits and oversee routine contract review meetings
o Oversee the sites ongoing management including direct supervision of the Grounds Maintenance team factoring in site ecology and sustainability
3. Site Management
o Supporting departments with concept designs and space planning requirements for all office moves and new employees
o Provide appropriate facilities support to site events i.e. marketing, partnerships etc
o Creating and coordinating communication relevant to the Facilities Department.
o Ownership of the Facilities Helpdesk and CAFM system
4. Budget Management
o Manage receipting for departmental purchase requisitions
o Own OPEX purchasing and finance enquiries (delegated responsibility in the absence of procurement).
o Monitor and maintain the department’s BAU financial operation and input in the annual budget planning process
o Coordinate the departmental budget, managing the daily updates and liaising with Finance on any anomalies.
The Person:
You will have relevant experience in a fast paced facilities environment combined with the ability to lead and support a team. You will be able to communicate effectively across all stakeholders, planning and delivering on facility related needs. You will have a desire to drive standards and create efficiencies, through continuous improvement.
