Maintenance Team Leader- Days (Electrical bias)

£45k plus overtime and a quarterly bonus scheme
Days over Monday to Friday – 8 hours between 06:00 and 16:00

We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader with an electrical skills bias although additional mechanical skills and/or knowledge would be an advantage. You will play a key role in the ongoing improvement of the site's approach to maintenance planning and delivery giving a real opportunity to suggest, own, and implement improvements. There are plans to increase and improve the use of automation across the site, a great opportunity for you to contribute to the development and physical upgrade of site machinery and systems.
You will also deliver day to day maintenance activities including delivering a combination of proactive planned maintenance and reactive fault finding and repairs to the site plant and machinery. As the Team Leader you will guide a small team in improving maintenance planning and working methods and will act as a stand in for the site Maintenance/Engineering Manager.
Safety is at the forefront of everything at the site, you would be expected to support the application of safe working practices and systems.
What you will need:
* Formal qualifications in electrical engineering or electrical maintenance.
* Proven industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
* Excellent fault-finding skills in electrical systems, both new and old using root cause analysis tools.
* A continuous improvement mindset.
* Proven experience in the use of safe systems of work (LOTO, risk assessments etc)
* Prior experience in supporting the improvement of maintenance planning, implementing new systems, and proactively improving plant reliability would be a distinct advantage.
* Some mechanical maintenance skills or a good appreciation would be great.
