EYFS Teaching Assistant - Chorley, Lancashire.
Location: Chorley, Lancashire.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 3.15pm.
Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour.
Are you a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant with a strong background in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to work at a Primary School in Chorley as an EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant. If you are committed to fostering a nurturing learning environment for our youngest learners and have a solid understanding of the EYFS framework, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the EYFS team to provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment for children aged 4 to 5 years old.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
- Support individual and group learning, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of the children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, promoting effective communication and partnership.
- Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback and insights to the class teacher and EYFS team.
- Help to create and maintain a safe and inclusive setting that encourages children's curiosity, creativity, and independence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a teaching assistant with a focus on EYFS.
- A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and its principles.
- Passion for working with young children and the ability to engage and motivate them.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to children's learning and development.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education would be advantageous.
