About the Role Applications are invited for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Education to work within our Education Studies Programme Team and working days would depend on an individual’s expertise and teaching timetable. As a member of the Institute of Education, Discipline of Education, Childhood and SEND team, you will have teaching and supervision responsibilities. There will also be opportunity for you to work with colleagues teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes both on campus and online. It is likely that the successful post holder will also work with our national and international partners. The post would be an Onsite-First worker and would include some flexibility allowing for variation in place, time and manner of working depending on specific workload requirements. This role is 0.3 FTE; specific days and times to be discussed at interview. About You We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator who thrives on linking theory to practice within the Higher Education environment. With a strong background in Education, you will bring both research and teaching expertise to this role, sharing your knowledge to inspire the next generation of learners. Holding a Masters in a relevant discipline, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of educational theory and practice, underpinned by a proven ability to employ a variety of delivery techniques that engage and motivate students. Your teaching approach will reflect a commitment to fostering an interactive and dynamic learning environment. Additionally, you will have experience in integrating digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring students have access to innovative tools and methods that enrich their academic experience.
