You’ll be part of UK West Hub where you, together with your colleagues, will achieve Warehouse & Supply Chain targets for safety performance (TRIR) and operational expenditure (OPEX), ensuring that operational availability targets are met, whilst continually driving quality and operational excellence. You’ll also enhance collaboration with senior stakeholders and global teams, contributing to the success of the UK West Hub. As a team, we collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, continuously improve our processes, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
You’ll play an important role in:
* developing, deploying, and executing the Warehouse and Supply Chain strategy across Generation UK West
* managing regional warehouses to meet the planned, corrective, HV (incl. OFTO) and project parts demand across the region
* ensuring regional warehouses operate at peak efficiency to service operations execution by supervising, organising, and training warehouse leads/coordinators
* developing warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilisation, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
* continuously leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing a team of specialists that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
* being responsible for the spare parts strategy within the region, considering all options, including central procurement, local sourcing, and refurbishment of existing parts.
To succeed in the role, you:
* have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics or supply chain management
* possess experience in operating a warehouse with a detailed understanding of warehouse management software systems
* have proficiency with warehouse procedures, policies, and SAP
* demonstrate experience in leading and performance managing cross-functional teams
* exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
* have strong stakeholder management skills.
