As an Accommodation Project Worker, you'll support young individuals aged 16-24, guiding them to develop essential life skills and transition smoothly into independent living. You'll provide mentorship, practical support, and a safe space for growth, while helping them find stable accommodation within the community. Flexibility is key, as you'll be on-call one week in three. You will demonstrate the following qualities: Empathy & Patience: Ability to build trust and positive relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds. Strong Communication Skills: Able to effectively engage, listen, and offer guidance to individuals in challenging situations. Problem-Solving: Confident in finding creative solutions to support young people in overcoming obstacles. Teamwork: Collaborative and able to work effectively with colleagues, external partners, and service providers. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling a variety of tasks and situations. Resilience: Able to manage difficult situations with professionalism and remain calm under pressure. Days & hours Contracted for up to 32 hours per week (working a 2 Week Rolling shift pattern of earlies, mids & lates).
