St Andrews Links is a dynamic organisation responsible for the world's most renowned public golf complex. Recognised around the world as the Home of Golf, St Andrews Links is home to the world’s most famous Links; the Old Course; six other award-winning courses, a state-of-the-art Golf Academy, three Clubhouses and five retail stores.
We are currently looking for Sales Associates to join our retail team on a permanent basis. We’re proud of our quality products and the successful candidates will be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience to our visitors and golfers. Our retail units are busy, so you’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We need you to be self-motivated, committed and ideally have previous experience within the Retail Industry. You don’t need to play golf, you just need to be great at customer service and be knowledgeable about what you’re selling (we’ll provide you with the product knowledge).
Responsibilities:
1. Providing excellent sales service to our customers through consistently giving professional, knowledgeable and friendly service.
2. Contributing to the achievement of the sales budget by taking a proactive approach towards selling and ensuring sales targets are achieved.
3. Participating in training sessions and learning & development opportunities to ensure you gain knowledge in all aspects of the job role.
4. Developing thorough product knowledge to be able to identify and explain specific features relevant to the visitor/customer experience and recommend suitable products for our customers.
5. Visual merchandising of the stock following our agreed procedures/layout.
6. Following security procedures at all times.
7. Cleaning and housekeeping duties to make sure the area and our stock are always presentable.
8. Adhering to all our policies and procedures.
9. Supporting the retail team with any duties that may be required.
