Our client is a leading business in Dewsbury, who have experienced phenomenal growth within their market over the last few years and are continuing with this strategic growth. They are a small family-led business and are a clear market leader within their sector. They are looking to add a Customer Service Administrator to their successful, busy, and stable Customer Service team.
We are looking for someone within easy access to Dewsbury, or you may be a car driver and be happy with the commute, as the role is fully office-based. You will have experience within a similar Administration or Customer-focused role, where high levels of attention to detail play a key part in your role. This is a very stable and supportive business, and there is definite scope for personal career development within the company. On top of your basic salary, you will receive a monthly bonus, 25 days holiday & bank holidays, and free on-site parking.
What you will be involved with as a Customer Service Administrator:
1. Managing the company's DPD/UPS courier accounts.
2. Being a key point of contact for customers mainly over email.
3. Resolving delivery queries and liaising with couriers or the warehouse as needed.
4. Processing returned orders and handling returns to customers including credit requests.
5. Working with the other Customer Support Advisors to offer support with their work and to their customers.
6. Processing incoming orders via Sage and being aware of stock availability.
7. Handling product queries and providing proactive information to customers on the product range.
8. Managing and resolving complaints swiftly to ensure a positive customer journey.
9. Any associated administration tasks that naturally come with the role.
What we are looking for in a Customer Service Administrator:
1. Experience of working within a similar administration or customer-focused role.
2. Strong attention to detail with your email communication, ensuring you are providing a positive solution for customers.
3. A passion for customer experience.
4. A team player who will support other members of the team as the role naturally dictates.
5. Hardworking and loyal.
6. Strong IT skills; any knowledge of Sage would be a bonus.
7. Any experience working with couriers is desirable.
You will receive initial training that will cover all areas of the business to really understand the product range and the work that you are involved with.
