Generator Service Engineer
Hemel, Braintree or the Midlands
We are looking for experienced Generator Service Engineers based out of our Hemel and Braintree depots. We are also looking for experienced Generator Service Engineers based in the Midlands. The role will be responsible for providing onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Ability to provide support to repair and maintenance of JCB Plant and Construction would also be useful but not essential.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Both Workshop and Onsite customer support to our range of Generators within the region
* Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
* Repair and service of generators and associated equipment
* Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
* Have the ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
* Good customer service skills
Key Skills We Are Looking For:
* Minimum of 5 years experience servicing Industrial diesel generators in a field based role
* Excellent working knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
* Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
* IT Proficient
* Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness
* Efficient and flexible with the ability to work without supervision
* Additional beneficial qualifications could include PASMA, CSCS card and Powered Access, 18th Edition plus the ability to service the range of JCB machines would also be useful
