About the Role: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential classroom support, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their academic potential. You’ll assist teachers in creating engaging learning environments and play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of students. Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GRAD TA): Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance. Assist with lesson preparation and the organisation of learning materials. Encourage and support students in building confidence and achieving their goals. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers. Promote positive behaviour management and support a safe learning environment. Engage in extracurricular activities to enrich students' overall learning experiences. Collaborate with school staff to address individual student needs and challenges. If you’re eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners- we would like to hear from you Grad TA Qualification & Skills: A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline such as Psychology, Education, or similar fields is advantageous. Prior experience working with young people (paid or voluntary), especially with children in an educational setting is desirable. A genuine passion for education and the drive to support young people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff. Adaptability and enthusiasm to thrive in dynamic classroom environments. An interest in pursuing a career in teaching or educational support. An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply for one.
