The role
As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities at alongside your Babcock and Military colleagues by taking a ‘Whole Force’ approach to our activities and ensuring that Babcock’s excellent safety and delivery reputation is always maintained.
Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Aircraft inspections.
2. Aircraft repair.
3. Aircraft maintenance.
4. Line support tasks
5. Supporting paperwork and certification
This role is full time and based onsite at Boscombe Down.
Essential experience of the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:
6. Have experience in the aircraft industry.
7. Have experience in a pt. environment.
8. Working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS).
Qualifications for the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:
9. Hold a CAA pt. 66 B1.2 licence.
10. CAA pt. 66 B1.2 licence.
11. Clean driving licence.
Security Clearance
12. The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC Clearance.
