Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their best? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team at our Primary School in Bacup.
About the Role:
As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of children in Years 1 and 2. You will assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, provide 1:1 or small group support for children with varying learning needs, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
- Support children with their learning, both individually and in small groups.
- Help with classroom management and maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
- Provide support for children with additional needs or those requiring extra help.
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays.
- Encourage positive behaviour and ensure children feel valued and confident.
We Are Looking For:
- A warm, friendly, and patient individual with a genuine interest in working with children.
- Experience in working with children (either in a school setting or other relevant environments) is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate children.
- A willingness to undergo relevant training and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
