Summary
At Smith+Nephew, we believe in our products. We believe that through innovation, development and supporting our customers and patients we can help others achieve a Life Unlimited!
In our Sports Medicine franchise we sell a range of surgical equipment, a fundamental part of which are our arthroscopy stacks. These are modular units that offer the full suite of equipment to complete key hole surgery.
The primary objective of The Visualisation Sales Development Manager is to help develop and implement our Go to Market strategy for all Visualisation products and services.
Identifying and building a functional pipeline of Visualisation opportunities through formal tenders, market opportunity scanning and review of our capital install base, will be a critical success factor of the role. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, attention to detail and high levels of time management, resource prioritisation and personal accountability proficiencies.
With this, we are looking for someone experienced selling capital equipment in a Sports Medicine or Orthopaedic environment. You will work alongside internal partners, Account Managers, Surgical Solutions Managers to find opportunities to grow the business.
In the role there's a level of autonomy and expectation to build and deliver a robust strategy built on the stacks or consumable business. You'll be working as part of a team that covers a national remit, so it's important that you can bounce off others, taking the benefit of working closely with peers, field sales and marketing teams.
You know what's truly exciting? The equipment you will be responsible for, is truly innovative. What's more, the equipment exists to help patients - to make their experience of 'going under the knife' as minimally invasive as possible.
