Role Title: Central Services Co-Ordinator
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Salary: £22,223 - £27,779 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience)
Contract: FTC until December 2025
You’ll be providing an efficient, effective, and proactive service, working collaboratively with other teams around the organisation. The ability to use Microsoft office (particularly word and excel), and previous experience of office administration is essential for this role.
We support agile working, so you’ll be provided all IT equipment to work flexibly between your home, and our Dartford office.

Your key tasks will include:
• Providing administrative support for the business ensuring that work is undertaken in accordance with Moat’s policies and procedures.
• Effectively utilise Moat’s IT systems, including CRM (Customer relationship monitoring system) and Active H (Housing Management database), to complete administrative tasks across the full range of housing management processes.
• Organising, preparing and distributing meeting papers. Attend meetings and minute as necessary, including travelling to other Moat offices as required. Ensure a timely distribution of actions and minutes to meeting chair.
• Taking ownership and responsibility for any service related queries from customers (internal and external) ensuring that the customer experience is positive, professional and within set timescales at all times.
• Handling internal and external calls and queries, providing information and advice as appropriate or possible, or signposting the query to the appropriate specialised department.
• Producing various standard letters and deal with adhoc duties, within set timescales. This may involve periodic bulk mail-out exercises to customers to strict deadlines.
• Welcoming visitors to head office reception, greeting in person or on the telephone.
• Opening, sorting and actioning group wide post. Ensuring documents are distributed/scanned to the relevant departments. Preparing all outgoing post for collection.
• Ensuring handovers/transfer of tasks effectively between team members and clear communication with the Central Service Team Leader.
• Supporting the Central Service Team Leader in reviewing systems and processes on an ongoing basis.
You’ll have:
• A good standard of education with good written / verbal English and maths.
• Able to use MS Office suite, particularly MS Word and Excel.
• Experience of office administration – organising systems, records and files.
• Access to transport or a full driving licence.
• Desirable to have an awareness of the social housing sector.
