About the role:
This is a promoted role within the Science Department and we are looking for an experienced, outstanding, talented and inspiring teacher of science to help lead the department, to ensure every child is challenged to achieve their maximum potential. You will have passion, enthusiasm, alongside the skills and desire to develop and nurture every child in your care. You will deliver consistently excellent teaching and learning, to help all students to achieve excellent academic results.
The role will include teaching and co-ordinating the delivery of lessons across specific year groups, Years 7-13. This is a fantastic opportunity to work to support the Director of Science and deliver a specific management role in a large core department which is central to the success of our school.
You will join a friendly close-knit science department who believes strongly in teamwork and co-plan units of work to ensure consistency and best practice across all classes.
