Do you have a positive approach to work and enjoy the challenge of a busy role? If so, a rare opportunity has arisen for the position of Executive Support Officer to work in the busy environment of Doncaster’s directly Elected Mayor. The post is one of two posts within the Elected Mayor’s Office providing high quality executive support services to a team of Cabinet Members, whilst working closely and flexibly with other members of the team, and wider council services, in taking forward our Mayoral priorities for the city of Doncaster.
We are looking for a candidate:
* who is professional and customer focussed, displaying discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy and integrity at all times.
* who is confident, with a positive ‘can do’ approach, and able to prioritise their work to ensure that all deadlines are met.
* who is able to use their own initiative, and can identify problems and find solutions in a pro-active manner.
* who has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can adapt those skills for differing audiences.
Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work in the office for a minimum of two days per week.
