The role of the Accounts Payable Clerk We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness. Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Reconcile accounts payable transactions. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Maintain vendor files and documentation. Assist with month-end closing and reporting. Previous experience in a similar role and within the hospitality industry is desirable, as is knowledge of Sage 200 and Opera systems.
