We are now recruiting on behalf of our Bridgwater client, the stock controller role requires stock quality to be kept at a high level through the quick and efficient processing of goods in dispatches out and the overall management of stock movement through the business.
The stores is a fast paced environment, where no day is ever the same and ideal for anyone wanting a career in inventory management.
Ideally for this role we are looking for the following experience:
* Previous experience working in stores / warehouse environment
* Basic understanding of the 5s would be an advantage
* Be a good team player, able to establish and develop relationships
* Must be adaptable to assist in all areas with a flexible approach
* Have previous experience in checking goods inwards/ outwards
* Can work under pressure, multitask, work to deadlines and have a high level of attention to detail
* Work using own initiative.
* Fork lift license or open to training
Responsibilities will include:
1. Booking in of all deliveries, ensuring they match the purchase order and carrying out basic inspection checks against drawings where required
2. Ensuring all stock goes into the right locations with the correct labelling and packaging
3. Liaising with the sales team to ensure swift processing of dispatch notes, booking of shipments and approval invoices so goods are sent on time
