Hours of Work: 38 hours per week Staff Benefits: Life Insurance, Medicash scheme, Free car parking on site, Canteen, Career progression, wbstaff Job Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Department: Health, Safety & Environmental Reports To: Head of Health, Safety, Environmental & Facilities Purpose of Post Assisting the Head of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) on all matters relating to the development and implementation of management systems that are appropriate for Wrightbus together with the introduction, co-ordination and on-going management and control of associated strategies, policies and procedures. Key Tasks: 1. Provide support to the Company Head of HSE. 2. Provide advice and guidance to Management on compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental law and best practice. 3. Assist in the production, development and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environmental policies, systems and procedures. 4. Advise and assist Management in establishing and maintaining safe systems of work. 5. Promote a positive business culture and behaviour towards HSE, involving all employees. 6. Deliver a programme of Health, Safety & Environmental audits and inspections and report on findings. 7. Advise Management on employee and contractor HSE awareness and compliance. 8. Assist with the completion, review and communication of risk assessments. 9. Oversee incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective/preventive actions are implemented. 10. Maintain appropriate manual and electronic recording systems. 11. Organise and deliver HSE meetings and training where required. 12. Analysing group trends and root causes. 13. Liaise with local authorities, e.g. HSENI, Ballymena Borough Council, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service. 14.
