A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in Planning, Design and the Environment with a fast-growing Ecology team. Their main body of work spans Planning, Architecture, Arboriculture and Ecology across the UK. They are looking for passionate and dedicated Ecologists to join a fast-growing, unique and rewarding organisation.
They are developing and overhauling their fast growing Ecology and biodiversity team, evidenced by recent delivery of some of the largest solar / battery storage schemes in the UK. They aim to maintain high performance delivery ofplex projects in the energy, residential and infrastructure sectors.
This role is available in the London, Norwich or Cambridge offices and will include a hybrid policy between working from home, office and site days. They are open to candidates across the South East region including East Anglia, Essex, Kent and Sussex.

As a Senior Ecologist you'll be working closely with the ecology team and Director of Ecology, an excellent opportunity to develop your ecology skills to be a more well-rounded consultant.
Main duties could include...
1. Lead on habitat and protected species surveys
2. Deliver ecology and biodiversity surveys and assessments
3. Carrying out desk studies (research and analysis)
4. Work up fees / proposals
5. Ensuring that the team's objectives are efficiently achieved
6. Attending team meetings
What you'll need to succeed
7. A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or other related subject
8. Ecology experience in a UK based consultancy setting
9. Strong report writing skills on ecological projects
10. Confidence to lead ecology surveys
11. Excellentmunication skills
12. Full UK driving license (ideal)
13. Membership in CIEEM (preferred)
