Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking the inspection, recording, and reporting of street works
Assessing licences, highway infrastructure, and surface apparatus defects
Ensuring compliance with street works legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
Applying relevant highways legislation in everyday operations
Delivering a professional service to maximise income for the Council
Job Requirements:
Experience with New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) inspections
Strong understanding of street works legislation and associated regulations
Ability to accurately record and report findings
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Capability to deliver high-quality services in a professional manner
