Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in Tameside. The salary for this role will be between £420 and £450 per week. This position will be full-time, and it will begin immediately after you are cleared for work. As a SEN TA, you will be responsible for supporting pupils with additional requirements throughout the school day. The pupils that you will be working with will have special educational needs such as Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia. Some of the pupils that you will be working with will require Education, Health, and Care plans (EHCPs). It will be your responsibility to support them with this. You will work on a one-to-one basis with pupils to ensure that they are provided with enough support throughout the school day. It is essential that you are able to quickly form relationships with these pupils as you will be required to provide emotional support. The school that you will be working is in Tameside, it is easy to commute to from the surrounding areas by car or on public transport. Requirements of this role. You must be willing to apply for a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check to ensure that you do not have any criminal convictions that would prevent you from working within a school. You will also be required to register this check with the Update Service to ensure that the check remains active and accurate. You will also be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references to fully cover the last two years of your work history.
