Role Overview:
Touchlight is currently seeking a skilled & highly organised Laboratory Technician to support our CDMO lab.
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for the completion of essential tasks such as buffer preparation, equipment verification, facility cleaning or stock control. The Lab Technician reports to the dbDNA Production Manager.
Your key duty will be creating buffers for laboratory methods and processes within a Grade D manufacturing facility. Additionally, you will be responsible for regular equipment calibration and verification checks.
You will help maintain our laboratory to enable it to operate at its highest level of performance, as well as maintaining stocks and organising logistics. You will also be expected to identify ongoing challenges and develop solutions to maintain an optimal work environment and ensure compliance with good H&S practices and company policies.
We'd like to hear from you, if you have a scientific background or proven experience working in a laboratory, ideally in a GMP or production setting.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Science degree or relevant academic experience
* Previous experience as Lab technician is a plus
* Experience with GMP is a plus
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Working knowledge of SAP (or other ERP).
