Job Title: Complex Care Nurse (office based)
Location: Chingford
Salary: £24,000pa (FTE £40,000pa)
Hours: Part time, 21 hours, part time to work 3 days between Monday - Friday, with some flexibility needed in unsocial hours to cover the needs of the branch.

Role Overview: The Complex Care Nurse is an office-based role that is an integral part of the excellent care delivery Prestige Nursing & Care provide to our adult and child social care clients. The Complex Care Nurse must possess strong clinical knowledge and expertise to provide our professional carers with thorough training, assessment and supervision to enable evidence based clinical care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for and lead on the clinical components of care delivery.
2. Support in the assessment, mobilisation and implementation of complex care clients.
3. Regularly risk assess individual client needs.
4. Provide evidence based clinical expertise and advice relating to care-planning and delivery.
5. Attend meetings and/or liaise with MDT, commissioners, case managers and clients to build and manage clinical caseload.
6. Act as a role model and leader for all members of staff.
7. Facilitate and deliver ongoing clinical knowledge/skills-training and competency assessments.
8. Responsible and accountable for the delegation of clinical healthcare tasks.
9. Maintain high standards and proactively manage quality improvement, clinical risks, safety concerns and complaints.
10. Drive best practice to ensure high quality care.
11. Promote compliance with internal policies and standards.
12. Keep up with national standards and requirements surrounding clinical services.
13. Commitment to improving client/family experience at every step of the care pathway.
14. Identify, develop and maintain new business streams to support growth of clinical services.
Person Specification:
1. Registered Nurse with NMC with active PIN.
2. Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience including community or hospital setting.
3. Management of clinical risk management and individualised, person-centred care planning.
4. Experience of safeguarding adults and children.
5. Effective communication skills - verbal and written.
6. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
7. Effective people management skills.
8. Ability to negotiate, influence, escalate and seek advice.
9. Experience in interpreting and analysing data and meeting deadlines.
10. Excellent IT and presentation skills.
11. Demonstrate knowledge of the theory and application of clinical governance.
12. Valid UK driving licence and access to a car is highly desirable.
