Marketing & Social Media Coordinator – Be the voice of Lake District Hotels!
Location: Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa Head Office, Keswick. (This role is office based)
Hours: Full-time, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £26,000+ dependent on experience

At Lake District Hotels, we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences for our customers across our six independent hotels located in one of the UK’s most stunning destinations. We’re now searching for a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our small marketing team, driving exciting campaigns, crafting engaging content, and sharing the magic of Lake District Hotels with the world.
About the Role:
As our Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be a key creative behind our marketing efforts, combining innovation and organisation to craft compelling content, run some of our social media channels, and support the delivery of standout marketing campaigns.
From scheduling posts to brainstorming fresh ideas, coordinating marketing activities to planning exciting seasonal campaigns, no two days will be the same. You’ll also handle key administrative tasks to keep our marketing efforts running smoothly – because behind every great campaign is someone who keeps it all on track!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Social Media Management:
1. Plan, schedule, and post engaging content across our social platforms (think Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more). From Hotels, Restaurants, Spa and Wedding social media pages there is lots to get stuck into!
2. Keep our followers engaged with creative posts, reels, and stories that reflect our brand voice.
3. Respond to comments and messages, building relationships with our audience.
Content Creation:
1. Write captivating copy, from Instagram captions, press releases to blog posts.
2. Coordinate photoshoots or source images that showcase our brand at its best.
3. Plan, film and edit regular, engaging reels.
Marketing Coordination & Admin:
1. Assist in planning and coordinating campaigns for seasonal promotions, events, and launches.
2. Work closely with other departments to ensure our marketing aligns with business goals.
3. Stay on top of key deadlines and make sure everything runs like clockwork.
4. Take charge of the marketing admin tasks, including managing email communications, filing, and recording meeting minutes.
Analytics & Reporting:
1. Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement.
2. Support the team with insights and feedback on what’s working and what’s not.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Someone who’s social-media-savvy with an eye for emerging trends.
2. A strong writer who can combine visuals to tell a story.
3. Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
4. Creative and resourceful – you’ll bring fresh ideas to the table and be excited to try them out.
5. Comfortable working with social media tools, basic graphic design programs (like Canva), and content scheduling through Meta Business.
6. Need a full driving license and access to a car.
