Kitchen Assistant £9,264 - £9,591 15 hours Fixed Post About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our small kitchen team at the Manor Farm Social Centre, Manor Farm Lane, Egham as a kitchen assistant. We provide high quality day services and activities for the older residents of Runnymede. The Centre offers a traditional home cooked meal as well as providing a tea bar with freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and drinks. The key duties as a kitchen assistant will be ensuring that kitchen and tea bar areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and provide assistance to the Cook and Assistant Cook. Although no experience is necessary, as we provide full training, we are looking for someone who is committed to providing a high-quality service and who enjoys working with people. There is also a requirement for flexibility, as we would expect this person to assist in the covering sickness and holiday. Although an enjoyable and rewarding role, kitchen work can be hard work and hot, so must be physically able to work in a commercial kitchen environment.
