ABOUT US:
The Royal Air Force Club is a Private Members Club located in London's Mayfair which offers first-class surroundings to serving and former serving officers of the RAF and Allied Air Forces. Having opened its doors in 1922, the Club's building is full of history and character. With 110 bedrooms and 10 meeting and banqueting rooms, the Club is a truly hidden gem with modern and elegant interior and facilities.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Shift Engineer you will be responsible forperforming various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the Royal Air Force Club and for the day to day upkeep of the Club.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Complete maintenance requests from the Opera list, ensuring that main priorities are health and safety and areas which are occupied by Members.
2. Following Policy and Procedures - Ensure that any Contractor coming on to site is aware of Health and Safety and Evacuation policy. Ensure weekly gas, electricity and water meter readings are taken. To ensure that a light bulb check is done each day.
3. Administration - Keep accurate records both computerised and paper when calling out contractors for service requests.
4. Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on the manufacturers recommendations and operating manuals as directed by the maintenance supervisor.
5.To carry out other duties as required. Additionally, any other reasonable requests from Senior Manager, in particular painting and decorating.
6. Attend training courses as required.
