Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman, specializing in residential design. Proficiency in Revit is required, and on-site field experience or a background in civil and commercial design is a plus. We value creativity, professionalism, and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
As Architectural Plans Manager, your primary role will be to catalog and manage Center Park’s growing list of products. This includes construction drawings, marketing collateral, and coordination between the two. In addition, you will oversee revisions/modifications to existing plans for new business development purposes and for permitting requirements. This position will also serve as a liaison between our Architectural Team and our Purchasing and Estimating team. Collaborating with the entire team on plan revisions is pivotal to our success on any project. Long term and as workload allows, an extension of responsibilities will include direct involvement in purchasing and estimating efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Track completion of community plan sets as they are produced with our contracted architects and engineers.
2. Produce and maintain plan field sets as they go to the field.
3. Address necessary permitting revisions.
4. Coordinate with Pre Construction Team to post most current versions of construction drawings to Project Management platforms and assist with communication when newer versions become available.
5. Implement prototype plan revisions.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Assist with drafting construction details to support field staff during vertical construction.
2. Track plan changes from pre-construction through RFP and prototype and relay to necessary departments.
3. Assist estimating department with takeoffs as needed to ensure proper material and quantities are accounted for.
4. Proof cabinet designs and ensure coordination with architectural plans has been achieved.
5. Assist with RFP logs and delegate submittal requests as needed for select projects.
