Wrap Around/After School Manager
B30
35 hours per week
7:30am – 9am and 3pm-6pm (with additional admin time)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wraparound School Manager to join one of the leading wraparound/sports coaching companies in the U.K. This role involves coordinating provision, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive environment for both staff, children, and parents.
Your Purpose
1. Responsible for the development and daily management of the club.
2. Providing a safe and caring environment in line with relevant statutory guidance.
3. Providing children aged 4 to 11 years a range of play, EYFS learning, and activities.
4. Organise a daily routine that provides enrichment and meets the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs of the children.
5. Building links and working in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to promote the well-being of the children.
6. Reconciliation of payments and daily updates of registers.
7. Previous experience in leading/supervising childcare provisions.
8. An understanding of OFSTED requirements.
9. Good understanding of child protection, child development, and health & safety legislation.
10. To provide full care for the children including maintaining a register of children attending the Club, following up any unexpected absences, and the safe delivery to parents and/or named carers.
11. Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, behaviour management reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
12. Working with children in the 4-11 years age range.
13. Experience of liaising with parents/carers.
14. Experience with administration systems.
15. Prior budgetary experience is essential.
16. Ability to manage and motivate a small team.
17. Ability to use initiative.
18. Innovative and can manage change.
19. Good organisational skills.
20. Competent in using computer systems including email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Publisher.
