Job summary East & South East London Pathology Partnership Band 8a HCPC-registered Senior Clinical Scientist in Cytogenetics and Molecular Haematology Applications are invited from exceptional, self-motivated HCPC-registered Clinical Scientists (cancer genomics, molecular or cytogenetics) to join the Cytogenetics and Molecular Haematology Department. Main duties of the job The post holder will have operational management of a designated area of the service. The post holder will be involved in the analysis and reporting of complex genomic results including molecular tests, cytogenetics and whole genome sequencing (WGS). The post holder will be involved in the research and development of genomic testing for cancer patients. The post holder will contribute to training and mentoring of the scientific workforce both within the organisation and across the North Thames Genomic Laboratory Hub (GLH).
