An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the MSK Therapy service in Bolton.
The MSK service comprises of out patient community settings across Bolton. A car user is essential for this post.
As a member of the wider MDT you will work alongside and support specialist therapy staff in providing specialist treatment, intervention and advice guided by a qualified therapist. The post offers the opportunity to develop skills within a supportive environment alongside other existing therapy assistants.
The post holder will benefit from working within a supportive team, with a robust supervision and appraisal programme, excellent in-house training and CPD. Supervision and support will be provided by senior therapy staff
To assist therapist(s) in their role by:
Providing a routine therapy under the direction of a named therapist to ensure the delivery of high quality services
Assist with delivery of exercise and activity groups
Preparing therapeutic materials as required
Undertaking administrative tasks related to the work load
The post holder will be accountable for their actions, within an agreed level of autonomy, following a programme of development through required competencies.
