About the Role
Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Bolton who are recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work as a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time or part-time basis.
About the School
The school itself caters for children with social emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children aged 4-11 on a 1:1 or small group basis. You will help to implement strategies to promote positive behavior, emotional regulation, and resilience. An important aspect of this role is to liaise with parents and carers to help towards the children's development.
Assignment Details
The role is to commence after the Easter break until summer half term.

Person Specification
* Holds experience with children that have challenging behaviour either within the classroom or a similar setting
* Be able to build strong and trusting relationships
* Patient, nurturing, and understanding
* Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
