Quality Control Analyst: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Analyst to join a leading company in the chemical industry. Mental and physical wellbeing initiatives. Volunteering days. Key Responsibilities: Conduct QC analysis of in-process and finished product samples according to specifications and methods. Manage the day-to-day operations of QC laboratory instrumentation required for testing. Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the department. Perform calibration and maintenance of instruments. Prepare laboratory reagents and standards in compliance with quality procedures. Train operators on analytical methods and ensure accurate record-keeping. Maintain records, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance. Investigate non-conforming products and customer quality complaints, following internal procedures. What They’re Looking For: MUST HAVE: Degree-level qualification in Chemistry or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Hands-on experience with HPLC operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Quality Management standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 12776, and BRC. Experience in the chemical or chemical distribution industry. Experience working in a Food/Cosmetic FMC environment. Experience conducting internal audits.
