Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and execute plans that drive engagement, enhance reach, and generate revenue across all social media channels.
2. Manage day-to-day updates, ensuring social media platforms reflect the charity’s brand, voice, and mission.
3. Monitor trends and activity, evaluate social media performance, and generate monthly reports with actionable recommendations to improve engagement.
4. Work closely with the Communications team to produce quality, brand-aligned content across all digital channels.
5. Develop unique, attention-grabbing posts that promote the charity’s work, mission, and events.
6. Ensure content is optimised for each social media channel, targeting the right audience with the correct tone and format.
7. Identify relevant news, updates, and trends, sharing them with internal teams to maximise impact.
8. Own the strategy and content planning for upcoming awareness days, weeks, and charity events.
9. Develop marketing assets, including graphics and digital materials, to promote initiatives and events.
10. Be the main point of contact for all website-related updates, ensuring the content, structure, and layout are continuously improved.
11. Use website analytics to track user behaviour, optimise the site for improved supporter experience and conversions, and make data-driven improvements.
Skills and Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years of social media marketing experience.
2. Knowledge of all major social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), with the ability to deploy them strategically.
3. Proficient in web content creation and management (experience with CMS).
4. Competent in using design tools like Photoshop and Canva to create digital assets.
